Al Atishan: The exhibition reflects the role of the business sector in supporting development.
1500 jobs for women and 500 jobs for people with special needs.
His
Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prince of The Eastern Region, launched the fifth edition of the 2017 Empolyment Exhibition organized by Asharqia Chamber in partnership with the
Dhahran International Exhibition Company (Expo). Next Friday (27/10/2017).
After
cutting the ribbon and honoring the sponsors, His Highness toured the pavilions of the exhibition,
which witnessed more than 9000 jobs through 138 companies and institutions.
More than 1500 job opportunities targeted at women and 500 job
opportunities for people with special needs were presented to the
public, early in the morning
yesterday, while the applications were recorded electronically through
the registration link presented by Asharqia Chamber for Employment,
and then presented to companies and institutions that provided all its
employment and training services in the exhibition.
"The
great interaction we witnessed on the first day of the 2017 Job Fair is
encouraging. The number of exhibitors increased to 138 from 100 last
year," said Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan, Chairman of the Chamber. The number of institutions supporting and sponsoring this event
has increased, as well as the great interaction of the youth of the
country, which reflects the role of the business sector in supporting
development efforts.
Al Ataishan
pointed to the official government support for this event, represented
by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, and the
honoring of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahad bin Salman bin
Abdulaziz, as well as prominent
government participation by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development
and the Foundation General
for Technical and Technical Education, Human Resources Development Fund
(HADAF) and the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage. This shows the keenness of the concerned authorities, and its continued efforts and encouragement for
private sector projects in this regard
On
the other hand, the activities of the scientific program accompanying
the exhibition started on Tuesday evening. In the first session, the
dialogue was held on the theme of "Define the idea of your project".
During this session, the director of the National Institute in Dammam, Abdulwahab Saad Al Fardan, (Read on labor rights and workers). The lawyer, legal advisor and
deputy director general of legal affairs at the Ministry of Labor and
Social Development, Yahia Hassan Al Sufayani, and the director Khaled Al Shaniber.
The third session on Thursday will be titled "Your job by your
hands." by Fahd bin
Mubarak Al Qahtani talking about this topic.
The fourth session on Friday was dedicated to women and addressed
the theme of "Future Employment", during which the consultant and
executive director Fanar Al Khaleej Consulting Management Nada Bin
Hamad Al Dosari, and the discussions will be conducted by Sherine Al Abdulahman.

Cooperation agreement to qualify Saudis to work in the gold and jewelery sector
Asharqiya Chamber and Joey Alu Kass Company signed a cooperation
agreement to qualify a number of Saudi youth for gold and jewelry
sales,
The agreement was signed on Tuesday 24/10/2017 on the sidelines of
the 2017 Jobs Exhibition organized by Asharqiya Chamber during the
four current days. It was signed by the Secretary General of the Chamber
Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel,
The agreement aims to promote and develop the scientific and
cultural level and serve the business sectors in the Eastern Region and
provide them with the required human resource competencies through the
implementation of specialized training programs aimed at supporting the
youth through training in specialized programs in sales.
The agreement mentions that Asharqia Chamber will train 120
trainees in specialized programs in the field of sales in the gold and
jewelery sector. The company will follow the success of the trainees
from each group to employ them.
